She gave birth to her second child less than a year ago but looking at Jessica Alba's body, you would never know that she had been pregnant twice.

The 31-year-old actress showed off her fantastic figure today while holidaying in Italy.

Jessica was clearly feeling the heat and decided to spend most of her time in the swimming pool wearing a two-piece that highlighted her slender frame.

Joined by some female friends, her mother and her two daughters, Honor, four, and eleven-month-old Haven, the Fantastic Four star displayed a flat stomach and a sun kissed skin tone.

Jessica's swimwear consisted of a red and white printed halterneck top and drawstring bottoms.

The actress wasn't bothered about her long dark hair getting wet and decided to leave it down as she played with her children in the water.

She completed her look with a pair of dark sunglasses and appeared happy and relaxed while enjoying some quality time with her family.

Jessica made sure that both of her daughters were well-protected in the sun with Honor wearing a long-sleeved blue patterned swim top and pink bikini bottoms.

Haven, on the other hand, wore a large pink floppy sun hat and a checked swimming costume while bobbing along in the water in baby lilo that kept her in the shade.

Once the group had had enough of playing in the water, they decided to head back to the hotel to dry off and then went for lunch nearby.

Jessica kept her 3,501,037 followers updated with every detail of her day and even posted a photo of her lunch.

The fact that she was tucking into a lobster salad may be the secret to Jessica's enviable body.

Meanwhile, Haven was sampling some fresh sea food and was pictured enjoying some grilled sea bass.

Being a successful actress and charity campaigner means Jessica doesn't get a great deal of time to relax.

But it seems she is relishing the opportunity of spending some quality time with her mother and daughters on the picturesque Italian coast.

The 31-year-old actress has already posted pictures of her kicking back with a glass of rose on what appears to be a boat, and also treated her Twitter followers to more of her touching holiday snaps.

After treating Honor to a delicious Italian ice cream, the family embarked on a spot of sightseeing, taking in stunning 9th century cathedral Amalfi Duomo di Sant Andrea.

Jessica later shared a shot of Honor enjoying her tasty frozen treat with a cheeky grin plastered across her face, adding: 'Someone's very excited about her late night gelato.'

However, one member of the group might not be too happy, as the Fantastic Four actress described her daughter Haven, 11 months, as the 'sweatiest baby in Italy'.

Although Jessica's husband Cash Warren, 33, is absent from the trip, she has been accompanied her mother Catherine as the family soak up the sights and sounds of the Amalfi Coast.

Jessica is currently taking a break from her busy filming schedule, with two of her latest projects having wrapped and now in post-production.

Her next venture onto the silver screen will be in A.C.O.D (Adult Children Of Divorce), alongside Amy Poehler and Jane Lynch, as well as loaning her vocals to animation Escape From Planet Earth.
