First look at the new Victoria's Secret swimwear collection (if only we could look like Angels Candice and Doutzen in it too)

Victoria's Secret has released images from

an upcoming September catalogue

, starring Angels Doutzen Kroes and Candice Swanepoel.

The two supermodels look sensational in the lingerie giant's new swimwear line-up, which features geometric spots, stripes and zig-zags, as well as animal-inspired prints in an array of bright, punchy hues.

Also modelling the range is Brazilian beauty Lais Ribeiro, who sports a Hawaiian-inspired floral bikini in one shot, and a more demure black one-piece in another.

The shoot took place in late July in Turks and Caicos, hence the idyllic beach set.

The trio of models can be seen standing in the shallows, or kneeling at the water's edge striking the sexy poses that the Angels are so well-known for.

The images, which were only officially released today, were the subject of controversy earlier this month when a set of unretouched photographs from the shoot were accidentally posted on a public area of the Victoria's Secret website.

They then appeared on The Fashion Spot and Jezebel, before being taken down shortly afterwards, presumably at the request of Victoria's Secret.

Despite not having been online for long, the images attracted plenty of attention because they revealed just how much Photoshop work takes place on Victoria's Secret imagery.

Even women as perfect-looking as Candice, Doutzen and Lais are not immune to the retoucher's airbrush, which is used to even skin tone, iron out skin creases and sometimes even boost breast size and slim waists.

Victoria's Secret is famously aggressive when it comes to Photoshop, and has been known to give models bizarrely-shaped thighs and even once erased a model's arm.

The new catalogue images thankfully don't display any glaring errors. Candice, Lais and Doutzen are all flawlessly airbrushed, but are at least in one piece.

Doutzen's body, in particular, is astonishing, given that she is a mother as well. Her son, Phyllon, will be two in January.
