And Rihanna lived up to that reputation on Monday as she left a music studio in Paris.
The We Found Love hitmaker turned heads in a crimson red feathered and fur coat she paired with a maxi skirt, red heels and lipstick for a monochromatic look.

The 24-year-old star seemed to be in good spirits, waving to fans and smiling as she left the venue after a recording session, while rumoured boyfriend Chris Brown was pictured leaving his hotel in the city.
Rihanna's statement-making look comes on the heels of the star's announcement her UK television show Styled to Rock is coming to America.
The show was reportedly cancelled amid rumours of low ratings. But she won't be going off air, with Style network having recently purchased the series.

Style Media announced earlier this month the show would premiere in the U.S. next summer.
The 10-episode hour-long series will give 12 up-and-coming designers, hand-picked by Rihanna, 'the opportunity of a lifetime'. according to the network. That is, 'to create unique fashion pieces for A-list celebrity talent'.
The UK version featured guest stars Cheryl Cole, Kanye West and Katy Perry. It has not yet been announced who is slated to make a cameo in the US episodes.
Rihanna meanwhile has been busy touring Europe.

The singer on Saturday posted a series of pictures of herself and a group of girlfriends kicking up their ice skates at a rink.
'The liquor kept us warm,' she captioned a photo of herself clinging to a bottle of Jack Daniels, calling the escapade '#B*****sOnIce'.
Rihanna had just wrapped up her performance on after her televised concert on The UK X Factor Final Live at Manchester Central Convention Centre when she hit the rink.
'#iceskatinglife,' she posted, captioning another picture of herself with a group of friends, 'Had THE BEST time with these n****z tonight!!!'

Rihanna was dressed down in jeans and comfy layers, and wore a red, yellow and green striped beanie to keep her head warm.
Earlier in the day, she seemed to be missing her rumoured boyfriend Chris Brown.
The Umbrella hitmaker posted a candid black-and-white snap, which shows her snuggling in what appears to be Brown's tattooed arm.
'Damn....... I miss my n***a #thuglife #BFFlife,' the 24-year-old pop star tweeted to her 27.1 million followers.

The photo came two months after Brown confessed to being in love with two women in a revealing personal video.
'You share history with somebody, and then you tend to fall in love with somebody else — it’s kind of difficult,' Chris said on camera, leaving fans to wonder if he was referring to then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran and Rihanna.
He continued: 'Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s possible. But for me, I just feel like that. I don’t want to hurt either or. It’s me. I’m not trying to be a player. My mama raised me differently.'
Brown subsequently broke it off with Tran. But the current status of their relationship remains unknown, as she reportedly met up with the singer in Paris on Friday night.

Rihanna and Brown meanwhile have left tongues wagging after posting a series of intimate Instagram shots this past month.
One shot showed the pair embracing and another image of a new gold choker - believed to be a gift from Chris - had the caption: 'He told me "you better not give it away."'
The Battleship star also accompanied Brown at his Thanksgiving Berlin concert, an X Factor performance in London and a boozy party in Frankfurt.
Rihanna previously denied she was dating the star.
