Perky Zoe Saldana boldly goes to Jimmy Kimmel show... and leaves little to the imagination in sheer black top

Perky Zoe Saldana boldly goes to Jimmy Kimmel show... and leaves little to the imagination in sheer black top

When it comes to her red carpet outfits, it's usually a case of the more revealing, the better, for Zoe Saldana.
But the Star Trek Into Darkness actress found herself showing more than she bargained for as she stepped out in a sheer black top in Hollywood on Wednesday.
However perky Zoe appeared to be either unaware, or unconcerned, by the wardrobe malfunction, smiling widely as she met fans outside the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Zoe, who reprises her role of communications officer Nyota Uhura in the follow-up to the 2009 movie, teamed the plain top with jeans biker style boots as she signed autographs and received a huge bunch of purple irises from one particularly appreciative fan.
Star Trek Into Darkness sees Chris Pine reprises his role as Captain Kirk, with Zachary Quinto as Spock and Benedict Cumberbatch joining the cast as the villainous John Harrison.
The second movie in the updated sci-fi franchise follows Kirk, Spock and the rest of the crew of the Enterprise who come across an unstoppable force of terror from within Starfleet.

It's then up to Captain Kirk to boldly go into a war-zone world to capture this one man weapon of mass destruction.
But despite the pressure of living up to the expectations of a sequel of this magnitude, Zoe said in a recent interview that she believes the follow-up film is as good as the first.
She said: 'Usually it’s a very scary thing when you do sequels, because 80% of the time they feel rushed, they don’t feel well developed.
'They feel thrown in there just to make a couple of bucks, more of the same. I honestly believe that sequels are meant to supersede the first installments, and this film definitely feels like that.'
