'I'm back b****es': Lily Allen reverts to her maiden name as she prepares for the release for her first music in four years
Only last year she revealed that her professional name would be changed to Lily Rose Cooper.
But 12-months on, the singer has confirmed that her new music will be released under her maiden name as she records her first musical output in more than four-years.
Having changed her Twitter handle from Cooper to Allen, the 28-year-old added two telling tweets along with a hyperlink for her official website, lillyallenmusic.com.

‘Hello, im Lily Allen,’ she wrote in one, while another, posted immediately afterwards added: ‘and, I’, coming back, b***hes.’
Lily recently returned to music with a featured appearance on Pink track True Love, but her last solo single came in 2009 with Who’d Have Known.
That release came from second studio album It’s Not Me, It’s You, but despite the LP winning critical praise and commercial success it wasn’t enough to stop the singer retiring from music following a performance at Wembley Stadium in September 2010.

Since then she’s pursued other ventures with varying degrees of success – amongst them ambitious clothing store Lucy in Disguise and her own Sony backed record label, In The Name Of
Her musical hiatus also saw her marry builder Sam Cooper after he proposed during a holiday in Bali.
The couple exchanged vows in 2011, after which she gave birth to their two daughters – Ethel Mary in November 2011 and Marnie Rose in January 2013.
Earlier this month Lily hinted that a new single could be ready by next March or April, with an album expected to follow soon after.

The singer – who admitted in May that tracks for the new album were ‘shaping up well' - has also been sharing studio time with It’s Not Me, It’s You producer Greg Kurstin.
She also made a live return in February when she took to the stage at Paris Fashion Week during the Girls Only! Etam Lingerie show, which was directed by her old pal Mark Ronson.
In a tweet posted shortly before the performance, she wrote: ‘Just did rehearsal for tomorrow's ETAM Show with @iamMarkRonson, still know the words to Smile, which is good. #mumback (sic).’
