He was slated by fans when he took a dig at Kourtney Kardashian's weight after she gave birth to their second child Penelope.
So perhaps Scott Disick was hoping to win approval when he called his partner 'an angel' after posting a picture of her pulling up her top to reveal her stomach and bra.
But the 30-year-old's posting on Instagram on Monday also had an unexpected effect, as fans speculated wildly he was hinting the Keeping Up With The Kardashians favourite is pregnant.

In the caption alongside the image he wrote: 'Looks like an angel.'
And while many would have been happy to admire a sneaky peak at the reality television personality's famous figure, it was not long before others were trying to read into Scott's cryptic post.
One called mrsbranaman wrote: 'How did I totally miss reports that @kourtneykardash is preggo again?! Obviously not confirmed but I believe it!'
But other fans were convinced he was being ambiguous to trick his followers.

And with a flood of supporters asking whether he was really revealing she was pregnant, one fan said: 'Why do u keep asking the same thing if u know he's not gonna answer til he wants to...'
Earlier this year, Scott caught flack after he told Kourtney, who was struggling to get back in shape after giving birth to their second child, 'If I would have fell in love with you a couple of pounds overweight, this would be my ideal weight, but I fell in love with you when you were super skinny.'
Scott was then shown ranting to camera in an episode of Kourtney And Kim Take Miami: 'Right now seems to be probably the heaviest she's ever been not pregnant.
'When we had Mason I remember her trying to whip herself back into shape pretty quick. This time around it seems like it's the least of her concerns, and the only thing she thinks about are the kids.

'I just think that she would feel better if she got back into the shape that she feels the most comfortable in.'
But he refused to back down after he was slated by fans of the show.
He posted on Twitter: 'Never realized how upset people get when a person makes a comment about weight.
'P.s anyone who has to much to say probably had to much to eat. #fatasses.'
