Rochelle and Marvin Humes are a hit with viewers as they make their TV presenting debut on This Morning

They're naturals! Rochelle and Marvin Humes are a hit with viewers as they make their TV presenting debut on This Morning

They’ve both conquered the pop charts with JLS and The Saturdays but on Friday Marvin and Rochelle Humes faced a very different challenge.
The married couple made their debut as TV presenters as they hosted ITV’s This Morning.
Despite Rochelle sharing her first day nerves on Twitter, the pair seemed to be a big hit with viewers.

Rochelle, 24 and her husband Marvin, 28 hosted a special one-off episode on Friday, taking over from regular presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford for the day.
The Saturdays star looked gorgeous for her presenting duties, choosing a floral Dolce & Gabbana dress.
The frock, which was similar to the one she wore to the One Direction premiere earlier this week, skimmed the mum of one’s curves, with the singer emphasizing her waist with a skinny black belt.

Rochelle teamed her designer dress with a simple pair of black heels and loosely curled her brunette locks.
Despite her no doubt early call time, the star looked fresh-faced with her natural make-up.
Marvin didn’t disappoint in the style stakes either, looking dapper in a burgundy suit with a buttoned up black shirt.

Although the pair were a hit with viewers, with many taking to Twitter to voice their praise of their natural presenting style and couple banter, Rochelle admitted she was feeling the nerves ahead of their debut:
‘Can't sleep I am so excited to be hosting @itvthismorning with my hubby @MarvinHumes tune with us at 10.30am on ITV eekkkk!’ the singer tweeted the night before.
Rochelle’s Saturdays band-mates made sure to tune in with Frankie Sandford tweeting her excitement during the morning show: ‘Argh! Look who it is!! Naturals! @rochellethesats’, wrote the star, who is currently expecting her first baby.

Una Healy wasn’t able to watch but kept up with her pals progress on Twitter, posting: ‘From your tweets sounds like our @RochelleTheSats and Marvin are doing great on This Morning’.
Leigh-Anne from Little Mix also joined in with the positive feedback, commenting on the ‘cute’ couple:
    ‘Aww I'm loving @rochellethesats @marvinhumes on @thismorningitv they're such a cute couple! :) x leigh’.

Rochelle and Marvin were certainly thrown in at the deep end for their first day, with one highlight seeing the couple play referee in a debate on whether women can change their men.
Journalist Alley Einstein and author Helen Croydon argued it out on the sofa with the presenters struggling to get a word in.
The segment did see Rochelle cheekily reveal one major thing she changed about her husband though, telling an unsuspecting Marvin:
‘There is one thing that I have changed about Marvin. You don’t know that I’m going to do this! My pet hate when we got together... I love what he wears, I think he always dresses smart but he had this thing of having a bigger cleavage than me.’

After a series of photos proving Rochelle’s point flashed up on screen, Marvin was insistent this was the first he’d hurt of his wife’s pet hate:
‘Hold on a minute. Wait wait wait. You didn’t say that when we were together, you were happy with the V-tees!’
‘No I loved you, but it was always a little bit too much for me,’ explained Rochelle.

The married couple follow the likes of Jamie Theakston and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, who have both filled guest presenting slots this summer.
Other stars penciled in to host future shows include Jeff Brazier – already a segment presenter for This Morning – and seasoned TV presenter Jenni Falconer.
