But Danica Patrick shocked fans by going from racing to racy as she took to the stage at the 2013 American Country Awards in Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
Shedding her driving gear in favour of a decidedly sexier ensemble, the 31-year-old sportswoman positively stunned as she showed off her impeccable figure in a skimpy sequin showgirl one-piece.

Hosting the star-studded ceremony at the Mandalay Bay Events Centre, the racing driver teamed her dazzling ensemble with an attention-grabbing headpiece and matching feathered stole in brght pink and orange.
Danica completed her showgirl look with white gloves and silver dancing shoes, while ensuring she was positively dripping in diamonds.

She said: 'The good thing about me is that there's no chance of a wardrobe malfunction because there's not much to malfunction! I hope that little bit didn't fall flat.'

The driver later underwent two more costume changes, showing off her incredible figure in a form-fitting cobalt number and a dramatic black and gold sequin midi-dress.
Blake Shelton scooped three of the top gongs at the ceremony, but the artist wasn’t there to pick them up and was busy at the semi-finals of The Voice, which saw his contestant Cole Vosbury get knocked out just shy of next week’s finals.
But no doubt even though he couldn’t be at the event, Blake would have been delighted to win Best Single By A Male Artist, Best Music Video By A Male Artist and Album Of The Year.

His wife Miranda Lambert, who won Best Female Artist Of The Year, and Carrie Underwood, who scooped the prize for Best Music Video By A Female Artist, also snubbed the event.
Fortunately, Florida Georgia Line, who were the biggest winners of the night, did make an appearance.
The band, consisting of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, won a whopping six awards during the evening, with four wins for their single Cruise.
