The case of the tiny TARDIS: Doctor Who's time machine hilariously shrinks as stars Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman look on with laughter
It was a case of some serious shrinkage on the set of Doctor Who in Barry Island, South Wales on Friday.
And the victim in question was none other than the Time Lord's tardis, the iconic time machine that enables the characters to travel to weird and wonderful destinations.
Cast members Peter Capaldi, 56, and Jenna Coleman, 28, looked on with laughter as crew members carried on the tiny version of the blue booth in a flat pack before it was assembled together.

Much to the amusement of Jenna, Peter tried to hop into the pint-sized phone-booth at one point.
Eager fans, who had gathered to try and get a sneak peek of filming, could barely believe their eyes as Peter struggled to fit inside.
Doctor Who super fan Stacey Hibbs, 19, said: 'There is something really funny about seeing the tardis shrunk down like that.
'Especially from a distance - it looked even smaller and Dr Who looked like a giant next to it.'
The disappearing act: the Scottish actor tried to squeeze his long limbs into the booth but after a few seconds in the cramped space he quickly wriggled out

The stars had to put up with sweltering temperatures to film their latest scenes on a disused railway line at Barry Island, which was also the backdrop for the hit TV show Gavin and Stacey.
Between scenes Capaldi entertained Jenna by popping his head in and out of the 3ft structure, pulling funny faces and acting up.
Another onlooker Phillip Peck, 52, said: 'It's not everyday you see a tardis in Barry Island.
'Especially not a mini one like that. On TV the tardis looks eight or nine foot - it was interesting to know it's flat packed. I wonder if I can get one at Ikea!'

Just last week it was announced that Dr Who is about to kick off a world tour to celebrate the new series.
The tour will visit Cardiff, London, Seoul, Sydney, New York, Mexico City and Rio de Janeiro.
'After eight months solid filming deep in the world of monsters, Jenna and I are thrilled to be heading for the Planet of Fans.' an ecstatic Peter said.
