Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shows cleavage & legs at Met Gala after party

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley breaks all the rules by showing cleavage AND legs after swapping revealing Versace gown for even racier number at Met Gala afterparty

It's one of the golden rules of fashion; either choose cleavage or legs.
But Rosie Huntington-Whiteley threw caution, and most of her dress, to the wind as she carried on her evening following the Met Gala in New York on Monday.
The beauty has started out her night in shimmering pink-gold Atelier Versace gown, which clung to her Amazonian curves in all the right places.

She went a step further as she headed from Michael Kors' afterparty to Rihanna's private bash by changing into a very provocative midnight blue number.
The gown featured a plunging neckline, which meant Rosie was showing the dreaded 'sideboob', while one half of the dress was long, while the other, short.
This meant Rosie's famously long legs were on display.
Despite being among some of the most famous women in the world, the British star held her own earlier in the evening as she made her way into the $25,000-per-ticket event, stunning onlookers in a shimmering pink-gold Atelier Versace gown, which clung to her Amazonian curves in all the right places.

The rose-tinted floor-length frock included several cut-out details across the bodice and swathes of smooth satin fabric.
But the main event was surely the bodice, a barely-there coverage of her chest and decolletage with one shoulder that hugged her neck.
And of course the British stunner made sure to show off her fantastic legs with a racy thigh-high slit that went almost up to her hip.

The form-fitting frock made quite the show of her enviably toned and taut frame, and she even appeared to have a more shapely derriere than usual, seen as she posed from all angles and showing it off with pride.
Adding to the striking dress, Rosie wore her honey-blonde tresses tamed and slicked back in a deep side-parting, oozing old Hollywood glamour and a kind of nonchalant simplicity that made her outfit sing.
With her brows brushed to perfection, she finished her night-time look with a slick of deep red lipstick, further accentuating her gorgeous face.

The theme of the annual fashion event was China: Through The Looking Glass, and it's something that Rosie clearly stuck to and ran with, but combining it with a more retro vibe than some of her peers.
And she notably walked the red carpet alone, without her long-term boyfriend Jason Statham, but the beauty proved she needed no aid as she stalked up the red carpet surrounded by the likes of Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Madonna.
After the gala event, hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Rosie was one of the stars to hot-foot across the city to The Mark Hotel to the after-party held by designer Michael Kors and iTunes.
She walked in arm-in-arm with Harper's Bazaar editor-at-large Derek Blasberg, while also trying to protect her modesty when a strong gust of wind threatened to whip up her skirt.

And, unlike some of the other star guests, she remained safely encased in her eye-catching Versace gown, instead of changing into an alternative ensemble.
As the gorgeous supermodel and actress - who is currently starring in the remake of Mad Max - stalked her way through the event and its post-show party, it's hard to believe that she was ever criticised by industry experts.
But in a recent interview with Net-A-Porter's The EDIT magazine, she revealed that she was actually told she was 'too healthy' to really be successful, back in her younger days.
She explained: 'I've always been considered more of a commercial model. I started modelling when I was 16, which is just mental, and when I used to go to castings for the shows they would see me and say, "She looks too wholesome. She's too healthy!"
'And that's bad because...? So I would think, "Well, thanks. I'll take that as a compliment." I like that word, wholesome, so it's hard for me to think of it as negative.'
