On Friday, Hailee Steinfeld released her debut song Love Myself, a Mattman & Robin-produced pop anthem about self-empowerment.
That same day, the 18-year-old BFF of Taylor Swift promoted her freshmen track on The Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show in New York City, as well as celebrating her latest accomplishment on Twitter writing: 'It's out, I'm crying!'

'This is INSANE,' she wrote on her social media pages expressing her disbelief about the premiere of Love Myself.
The recent high school graduate officially made her first radio entry after previously featured on the soundtrack of the Keira Knightley and Adam Levine-starring film Begin Again (2014).
Fans first heard Hailee's vocal talents in Pitch Perfect 2, in which she portrayed a collegiate member of the Barden Bella acapella group.

Colton Hayes, Bailee Madison, Sophie Turner and Josephine Skriver all gave positive reviews of their pal's catchy single.
Also on Friday, Hailee stopped by The Elvis Duran Show to chat about Love Myself and what's to come in her singing career.

'We're fed this false sort of sense of what we're supposed to be like in order to love ourselves,' she said during the radio interview.
'I think this song, kind of highlights the power of loving yourself and empowering yourself,' Steinfeld continued.
Adding: 'Honestly, music has always been such a huge part of my life and always a part of my plan. I made Pitch Perfect 2 last year and after that, I kind of just fell into making this. It all happened very organically and it's been amazing! I've made time and I've fallen in love with the whole process.'
