And Strictly Come Dancing's Saturday night episode did not disappoint when nine stars took to the floor after the first six celebrities danced their inaugural moves on Friday night.
Fan favourite Peter Andre may have been the final star to dance but the best was saved for last as he jumped straight to the top of the leaderboard with his polished performance.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 42, was the third star to do the Cha Cha with stunning professional Janette Manrara to the tune of Christina Aguilera's hit Aint No Other Man.
Before the dance Peter said: 'There's no turning around now and it's going to be fantastic... Janette is a little powerhouse... I'm a bit of perfectionist.. I need it to go right.'
The energetic and sexy routine was met with an astonishing reaction with Tess saying: 'That was hot, you raised the roof in the studio.'

Len gave the highest praise of all, feting the performance as, 'the best dance of the two nights.'
Bruno agreed, saying: 'Fantastic I love the perfromance level', while Craig said: 'That was a show stopper but you've got to get that hip action. It was sharp it was clean you rocked it darling.'
Darcy weighed in: 'Peter you were overflowing with attitude.. You rocked it.'
After the judges had offered their high praises, an overwhelmed Peter said: 'Absolutely speechless what could you ask for.'
The talented singer was given an eye-watering 30 points from the judges, sweeping him straight to the top of the leaderboard.

Opening the show were the professionals, who stormed the stage to a rocky version of Walk The Moon's hit Shut Up And Dance as they displayed their skilled moves in 1950s inspired monochrome ensembles.

Tess poked fun at boxer Anthony Ogogo's Friday night wardrobe malfunction: '[Last night's] show was so tightly packed it was bursting at the seams - as in fact were Anthony Ogogo's trousers.'

Jay sang the first line of The Four Tops' classic I'll Be There as she embarked on a sexy dance, before saying at the end: 'That was really fun - the best fun I've ever had.'
His nerves were unfounded as he was met with glowing reviews from the scrutinising judges, with Len Goodman saying: 'Jay McGuinness, You're like a glass of Guinness- full bodied with a bit of froth on top... Don't you go anywhere. You're wanted.'
Bruno Tonioli added: 'Oh, Jay. I'm glad you came.. You have the potential to be a great hit on the dance floor' with his final score landing on 27

However Darcy was a fan, saying: 'It was strangely fabulous... I knew I was going to love you because you put everything into it... You have to watch those long legs because it shows a lack of technique but I loved it' - despite the reviews, Jeremy was feted with a humble 20 points.
Len: 'Little bit out of control.. but what I love you came out and went for it. I read in the papers you're the underdog... Well this underdog has got a bit of bite.'

Len said: 'The longest I've ever seen you not smile... You captured the flavour.. For me it's not a bad starter.. Next week we want the main course' while Craig added: 'You need to sort your posture out... You need to maintain the level darling.. It was up and down like a dog at a fair. But the acting was absolutely brilliant.'

Katie's debut was highly praised by the judges with Bruno harking: 'Kate is a muse - I tell you one thing. I couldn't take my eyes off you, you have a radiant stage presense. She has all the ability and great legs.'
Craig was even more complimentary saying: 'Very very clean and the most sophisticated and stylish jive we've ever had on the programme' and the couple were feted with a stunning 26.
