That Big Budget 'Power Rangers' Movie Has Found Its Pink Ranger
Proof that the 'Power Rangers' movie is something that's really happening.

Kids of the '90s still fondly remember the monster-tackling heroes of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, and LionsGate is playing directly to that audience with an upcoming big budget movie adaptation of the TV show. While news around the 2017 movie has so far been pretty scant, LionsGate announced the production's first major casting on Wednesday, introducing Naomi Scott as the all important Pink Ranger.
If Power Rangers hits its mark, this will be a breakout role for Scott, who has a small supporting role in The Martian. LionsGate broke the news via Instagram, and it's worth noting that this is the first post that's been made on the movie's official Instagram.
