Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo is second to be knocked out of Strictly... as he blasts judges for being too 'harsh' due to a lack of previous dance training

Time to Ogogo! Olympic boxer Anthony is second to be knocked out of Strictly... as he blasts judges for being too 'harsh' due to a lack of previous dance training

He is used to being the king of the ring - often lasting till the very last round.
Yet Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo had less luck on Sunday night's Strictly Come Dancing when he became the second celebrity to be knocked out of the show - after going head-to-head with TV chef Ainsley Harriott in the dance off.
The 26-year-old sportsman, who was paired with professional dancer Oti Mabuse, failed to impress on movie night with his lacklustre Paso Doble to Eye Of The Tiger from the film Rocky although he insists the judges were too unfair on him.

So long! Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo had less luck on Sunday night's Strictly Come Dancing when he became the second celebrity to be knocked out of the show
On Saturday night Anthony and Obi were given 19 points for their fight-themed routine - the same score they received the week before.
Bruno Tonioli said of the dance: 'I'm going to be very rough on you because you're fit, you're young and you should apply yourself... it was all over the place. It was crash, bang, wallop, but the paso doble lacked total artistry.'
Anthony went head-to-head in Sunday's dance off against Ainsley, who is paired with stunning Natalie Lowe and performed the cha cha to Earth, Wind And Fire's 1979 hit Boogie Wonderland from the movie Happy Feet.

When he discovered he was joining Ainsley in the bottom two, Anthony seemed to take the news well and insisted he would bring his fighting spirit
He said: 'We were quite relaxed, I think I was expecting it... I'll give it one last big effort and hopefully that will push us over the line... This could be our last dance... I hope it won't be because the whole thing's been good so far.'
Head judge Len Goodman gave his final advice to Anthony, saying: 'Give it a go Ogogo - Try to refine it, don't just go over the edge.'

Anthony humbly said: 'It's been brilliant. I want to thank Oti she has been amazing. I feel sorry for her because she got lumbered with me.
'I can't dance and I've got a poorly little shoulder. She's done a wonderful job with me so thank you.'
Save the last dance: Anthony took the news well that he had been dismissed although grumbled about his fellow contestants' dance experience

He later spoke out against the decision - insisting he was an underdog in the competition because fellow celebs Jay McGuinness and Peter Andre have dancing backgrounds.
He said: 'I do think the judges were quite critical of me, quite harsh with me. I think from the get-go, from the first week I think I was scored quite harshly. I'm not a dancer, I've never danced before - but I was trying my absolute best.
'And when they criticise me on one week, I'd go back and me and Oti would work really hard at putting right what we'd got wrong. But when I came back, there was no sense of well done on correcting... it was just, they were finding more things to highlight.'

'People want to see entertaining dances, they want to see people do well, but also I think people like to see a journey. And I think my journey could have - if given more of an opportunity by the powers that be - I think my journey could have been good.
'But obviously it wasn't to be... I've never danced before, I was up against professionally trained dancers, and I gave it a good go.'
Standing ovation: Despite their allegedly 'harsh' decisions, the judges gave the Olympian a standing ovation when he left the dancefloor
