She bravely shared her account of being abused in a children's home when she was only eight years of age earlier this week.
And now, Rebecca Ferguson has shown her strength as she stepped out smiling for The Magic of Christmas at London's Palladium on Sunday in a festive red floor-length dress.
The 30-year-old beauty wowed in the demure number that hugged her womanly curves and featured a short but stylish train at the renowned venue.

The Nothing's Real But Love songstress' show-stopping look featured a semi-sheer panel in the midst of her bust which was accentuated with a diamante encrusted neckline.
Beaming for the cameras, she added inches to her petite frame with a pair of peep toe black heels that flaunted her perfectly pedicured feet.
Rebecca swept her long ombre tresses into a chic chignon, strategically leaving a large strand out, working it into a old Hollywood wave.

Upping the ante, she worked a full glamorous beauty look that highlighted her naturally full pout with a slick of red lipstick to match her outfit as she prepared to perform a number of her hits at the event.
Showcasing her youthful complexion, Rebecca applied a dusting of highlighter to the high points of her face as she widened her brown eyes with lashings of mascara.
Her dazzling appearance comes after she visited the ladies on Loose Women this week to share her horrifying account of abuse while in care as a child.
The X Factor star said she had felt compelled to talk about her story after panellist Saira Khan revealed her late uncle molested her when she was 13.

Rebecca said: 'I was abused in a children's home. I've never said that.
'I've never spoke about it. I've told one friend. Today, because it's a subject, I thought it's the perfect time to speak about it. I was eight when it happened.'
Bravely talking about how it affected her in later life, she said: 'I think it affects a woman's esteem, how you go on to be treated by men it has a big effect.
'I think if someone has took advantage of you from a young age. It's very hard to have strong self-esteem. It's taken me years to build it up.

'It was something I put to the back of my mind like it wasn't there. You feel dirty like you've done something wrong. I think everyone knows I'm really bad at picking men.'
She has previously said: 'My mother [Anne Jameson, 58] wasn't well when I was growing up.' [Rebecca has never disclosed what her mother's illness was.]
Offering her some support, Saira said: 'I would love you to come to counselling with me.
Rebecca replied: 'I think I do need to. I’ve never talked to anyone about it.'
