The Voice reject is a BGT hit

SEXY singer Alice Fredenham, who wows Simon Cowell on tonight’s show, was REJECTED by rival series The Voice, The Sun can reveal.

Beauty therapist Alice, 28, closes tonight’s first episode of the hit ITV talent show with a sultry performance of My Funny Valentine.

Smitten Cowell tells her: “Wow. Your voice is like liquid gold.”

But Alice, of Harpenden, Herts, only tried out for BGT after failing to get through the blind auditions for The Voice’s current series.

A BBC1 source said: “The Voice prides itself on its high standards, and yet again BGT is taking the show’s rejects.”

Meanwhile, Cleo Higgins, 30, lead singer of ’90s pop act Cleopatra, is on The Voice on BBC1 tonight, at 6.45pm.

Funny turn ... Jack Carroll at audition

YOUNG comedian Jack Carroll wins over the judges tonight with gags about his cerebral palsy.

Simon roars with laughter when the 14-year-old, who walks with the aid of a frame, describes himself as a “professional gymnast”.

Singer Arisxandra Libantino, 11, also blows them away, with Simon describing her as “superhuman”.
