Chrissy Teigen has spoken about how Sports Illustrated favors models with curvier bodies because they are sexier.
In an interview with HuffPost Live, the model, 27, who is engaged to singer John Legend, said she was lucky to work with the title because she doesn't have to be waif-thin.
'I think I got lucky with Sports Illustrated' she said. 'They're actually terrified of girls losing weight and not being sexy any more.
'I'm not that girl who's walking the runways of Milan anyway, so I do get to eat. I feel badly for those girls who have to be so waif-thin doing those catwalks all the time.'
It is just as well, as the model is well known for her love of food. She has fronted shows for the Cooking Channel, has her own food blog, So Delushious, and a hugely popular Twitter handle which has won her legions of fans.
Miss Teigen admitted that it has never been in her DNA to be genuinely curvy though, and any weight gain would just go straight to her face.
'To be honest, I couldn't be an hourglass if I tried,' she said. 'It's all Asian face!'
The Utah-born beauty, whose mother is Thai and father is Norwegian, was forced to deny claims today that her fiance had cheated on her.
This morning the New York Post's Page Six reported that Mr Legend, 34, was kissing a blonde woman at Manhattan restaurant Acme last Friday night.
The singer was apparently seen 'chatting all night' with the woman before 'pulling [her] into a bathroom with him.'
The Post says that the young woman was later overheard boasting to a friend that she and Mr Legend had enjoyed 'a steamy make-out session.'

On reading the article this morning, Miss Teigen took to Twitter handle to refute the claims.
'Just read John cheated on me and in the uber-credible Post,' she wrote. 'I'm just heartbroken as it's definitely not typical post bulls***.'
Later she added: 'Gonna buy a parrot for the sole reason of it s***ting on the Post every day. Also the singing and companionship.'

By later in the day, the couple were publicly joking about the scandal. In tweets that have since been deleted, she wrote: '@johnlegend my tummy hurts and I think it's the chicken you made me last night are you trying to kill me so u can be with your bathroom GF? [sic]'
He retorted: 'My tummy kinda hurts too. It was a murder-suicide attempt.'
