She may have been born into wealth and swiftly thrust into the spotlight.

But Kendall Jenner was a model teenager on Thursday as she hurried around town to run some errands.

The 17-year-old reality star was spotted driving to the gas station to fill her Range Rover car up on petrol.

The clothes horse looked great in pair of fitted beige jeans and cream cardigan as she refuelled the large vehicle.

While some stars may opt to have a member of staff do their handy work, Kendall was no lazy teen as she got to grips with the pump herself.

The lanky brunette left her freshly trimmed hair out and straight donning sandals on her feet.

It's not a sight often seen in the United Kingdom where the legal driving age is 18, while in the United States it is 16.

Clearly in a hurry, it wasn’t long before she hopped back into her car, swinging her many key chains in her hand as she raced around the black SUV.

Perhaps Kendall was in a rush to be reunited with her close friend.

She revealed on Instragram that she had been anticipating the arrival of long-time pal Spencer Johnson.

Later she shared a snap of the pair wildly embracing each other , with Kendall jumping on top of her buddy to greet her.

She captioned the collage of shots: ‘My sista @spencerjohnson is home from college for gooodddd! so excited I get my fwiend back... eee!’

Kendall is the daughter of Kardashian mother and manager with her father being Olympic gold medal winner Bruce Jenner.
