What a transformation! Kelis blends in as she arrives to performance dressed down... then slips into eye-popping orange frock

As she took to the stage at a Los Angeles event on Thursday, there was nowhere anyone could look but at Kelis.

Although she was already commanding attention with her stage presence, the singer drew further looks thanks to her eye-popping ensemble.

The 33-year-old squeezed her curves into a figure-hugging tangerine dress with a sexy keyhole cut-out, and teamed it with glittering gold shoes and white bangles and sunglasses.

But when she had arrived at The Grove ahead of the performance, Kelis blended into the crowd in a casual outfit.

The star was sporting bright pink lipstick but dressed down in wide-leg jeans and a simple white top.

The eclectic star was at the outdoor shopping centre to perform at the Kiehl's Liferide for Amfar charity event, which is a motorcycle ride that took place over several destinations and ended on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Kelis was also unveiling a new look and had a bright white streak in her hair which was in stark contrast to the rest of her dark tresses.

Kelis was obviously proud of her new 'do as she drew attention to it by pinning back some of her hair in a beehive which accentuated the patch of shocking white hair.

In recent years the trend for a bright white streak of hair has been adopted in certain high fashion circles, and Kelis is now giving the bold and risky look a go.

With some of her striking hair pulled back into a beehive, the Milkshake singer was able to show off her large gold earrings which looked rather heavy.

Sharon Stone was also in attendance at the event, looking a little overdressed on the red carpet compared to other guests, as she sported a slinky black ensemble.

Celebrities including John Corbett and Gilles Marini of Sex And The City Fame, and Katee Sackoff and Tricia Helfer from Battlestar Gallactica, took part in the charity ride.
