Little Mix join forces with Mel C for official Sport Relief video wearing contrasting athletic outfits

Word up! Little Mix join forces with Mel C for official Sport Relief video wearing contrasting athletic outfits

They've become household names since hitting the spotlight just over three years ago.
And now it seems Little Mix have ramped things up a tad and taken a few tips from former Sporty Spice Mel C in the official video for their Sport Relief single Word Up.
Foursome Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson hit a gleaming fitness centre and channelled their 1990s Sporty Spice look for their version of Cameo's track.

The group burst into action in a selection of funky running gear and appear to break quite a sweat on the treadmill and spin bikes as they dance energetically around.

Following in the footsteps of One Direction – who recorded the official Comic Relief single One Way or Another last year – the Salute hitmakers showed off a number of jokey poses in a short clip to be released on March 16.

Dressed in a garish orange tracksuit, Jade, 21, through out some shapes before leaping on an indoor exercise bike.
Jesy sporting a red, black and white checked shirt tied around her waist, had a go on a trampoline.
Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards, 20, stole the show in Adidas leggings and a black sports top and repeatedly punched the air.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 22, still managed to look sultry and glamorous for the charity single clad in a white top and matching skirt.
The clip cuts to Leigh-Anne who shakes her hair in time to the music.
In a caption attached to the video, Little Mix posted: ‘Sexy time slow jamz! xx Little Mix xx (sic)’

In one clip, Leigh-Anne’s arms were bizarrely taped with bright green, pink and blue tape as she and Perrie danced to Word Up.
They revealed they are looking forward to performing the song when they support US singer Demi Lovato on tour later this year.
The four girls took to their band’s official Twitter account to announce the news, saying: ‘We are really excited to announce this year’s official @SportRelief Single is called 'Word Up' sung by…..
