Tara The Cat Saves The Day—Rescues Boy From Dog Attack!
Cats are loyal creatures, even more so than their ferocious counterparts. While dogs have typically been known to be man’s best friend, the tables turned recently when a neighborhood dog attacked a young boy, named Jeremy Triantafilo, while he was riding his bike. In the viral video, the 4-year-old is seen completely unaware and enjoying the sun; suddenly, the dog approaches and rips him by the leg, crashing him to the ground. Almost immediately, his cat Tara comes to the rescue, pouncing on the dog and then chasing it away.
Reportedly, Tara followed the family home from the park nearly five years ago. Right off the bat, Tara took a liking to Jeremy, even sleeping in his crib. The bond between kid and feline is strong, as evidenced by this heroic rescue. While Jeremy suffered a leg injury needing stitches, he is now recovering at home, with Tara by his side.
“Yea, she’s a hero!” Jeremy told ABC News following the incident.
