The musicians, who for the most part kept their relationship out of the public eye, started dating after meeting in 1995, when No Doubt opened for Bush on tour.
The couple's marriage was rocked in 2004 when Gavin discovered he had fathered a daughter, Daisy, from his previous relationship with British fashion designer Pearl Lowe, before he met Gwen.

Daisy - who was 14 at the time - took a DNA test after her mother revealed her suspicions that Gavin was the father.
The rocker reportedly immediately cut-off contact with both Pearl and Daisy after the paternity revelation but has since formed a relationship with his now 26-year-old fashion model daughter.
Gavin hit headlines again in 2010 when he admitted to having an 'experimental' fling - after having denied it years earlier - with cross-dressing pop singer Peter Robinson, aka Marilyn, in the 1980s.
He told Details magazine at the time: 'When you're 17, Jesus Christ, I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of anything - you’re learning about life. It’s a part of growing up - that’s it, no more, no less.'

In January, Gwen teared-up while talking about her marriage in an interview on the Today show.
'If I look back on the whole thing the one thing that's been constant is that we both want the same thing.
'We both want to be married. We both want to be good parents, and so I feel really proud of what we've done together and that we don't... You're gonna get me crying, no don't, I'm going to get all emotional! But I am really proud of it.'

In an interview with Rolling Stone the same month, Gavin gushed of his wife: 'Wow, it's so long. I can't remember much without [Gwen]. She's such a great person that I think she's taught me how to be a better person.
'She's so successful and so good at what she does that it always keeps you in check at the house. You might come in with two of something, and she's got 12 of something. You can never get over-excited, there's something about that.'
Gwen and Gavin welcomed their third son Apollo in February 2014 and the Bush musician revealed in an interview with Howard Stern last September how his wife broke the unexpected news.

He also said he knew exactly when the little one was conceived as he wasn't home that often.
