Who needs make-up? Bare-faced supermodel Jourdan Dunn turns her back on the camera in cheeky snaps for Rag & Bone

Who needs make-up? Bare-faced supermodel Jourdan Dunn turns her back on the camera in cheeky snaps for Rag & Bone

Jourdan Dunn is usually groomed to perfection by a cast of make-up artists and hair stylists before a shoot.
But a new set of photos, released as part of Rag & Bone's DIY Project, proves that the British supermodel, 22, really doesn't need it at all.
Miss Dunn, who is mother to son Riley, almost three, looks flawless in the latest instalment of the ad series, which see each chosen model given a camera, a bag of clothes, and free rein to do what they like with them.

Putting on a show: The British supermodel, who is mother to Riley, three, was snapped by a friend in her Rag & Bone jeans while hanging a print in her new London flat
She chose her London flat and various New York City locations as her set, including Central Park.
'Central Park is my sanctuary and I always spend as much time there as I can when I’m in town,' she revealed.

Jourdan is a Rag & Bone regular, having walked in its most recent shows in London and New York, and the label's designers consider her the perfect ambassador for their denim designs.
Rag & Bone co-designer David Neville said: 'Jourdan is definitely one of the top British models in the industry right now... It was cool and fitting with Rag & Bone that she chose to shoot her Project in both cities.

Sanctuary: The jetsetting beauty also took her camera to Central Park, one of her favourite New York spots
'And,' he added, 'she looks amazing in our jeans.'
He is not the only person to think so, as Miss Dunn herself reveals.
'I had just moved into my new apartment in London and was hanging artwork that I’d recently purchased and, as I’m not the most handy person in the world, the process was really amusing,' she said.
'My friends kept telling me how great my bum looked in my rag & bone jeans so I put on a show.'

If you've got it... Miss Dunn admitted all her friends say her bum looks great in the New York label's denim
It follows the DIY Project of fellow model Liu Wen, released several weeks ago, which was shot in Manhattan and Coney Island.
Miss Wen, 24, who has walked the runway for almost every major label, and is also a face of Estee Lauder, took her camera to Manhattan and Coney Island.
Despite the lack of production behind them, the Chinese-born beauty looks sensational in the resulting photos, some in colour, and some in black-and-white.
They see her walking in front of a fountain in a hazy late-afternoon light, on a boardwalk with a bunch of balloons, and in one high-energy shot, hanging from a piece of wooden scaffolding.

The natural look: Supermodel Liu Wen, 24, also took part in the DIY project, in which each model is given a camera, a bag clothes by Rag & Bone, and free rein to create their own shoot

Tomboy style: Miss Wen admits she was already a fan of the label's understated T-shirts and jeans
The Rag & Bone team were delighted with the results, with co-designer David Neville calling the model 'naturally beautiful and unaffected'.
He added: 'She’s done several of our shows and she’s got this great energy to her – she’s always happy and smiling.'
Mr Neville revealed that the DIY Project series had enjoyed a fantastic response since its launch in spring 2011.
'We think it’s cool to show the girls in this light – it’s stripped back and it’s all about personal style and attitude which rag & bone really believes in,' he said.
