Harris appeared on morning show Lorraine on Monday, and she raved about Bardem's performance.
She said: 'I haven’t seen the movie yet because I’m waiting for the premiere, but everyone has been saying he makes you fall in love with him. You love him; he makes you laugh as well as being the villain - a really unusual performance.'
Harris added: 'The story is brilliant and the characters are as well. Because sometimes in a big action movie they forget about that.
'I think it’s the most important thing, because if you love the characters, you enjoy the journey that they go on and the characters in this are so complex and interesting it’s brilliant. Even the smaller roles are fantastic.'
Critics have praised the new Bond blockbuster, with many claiming it's one of the best of the enduring series.
Skyfall is released on October 26 in the U.K., while U.S. viewers can see the latest Bond blockbuster from November 9
