Angelic Kelly Reilly glitters in silver while Nadine Velazquez is bewitching in black at Flight premiere

Like day and night! Angelic Kelly Reilly glitters in silver while Nadine Velazquez is bewitching in black at Flight premiere

She plays a heroin addict opposite Denzel Washington in Robert Zemeckis' forthcoming drama Flight.
But Kelly Reilly could not have looked more angelic at the Los Angeles premiere of the new film.

The red-headed beauty was stunning on the red carpet on Tuesday night, although she was battling for camera flashes with fellow co-star Nadine Velazquez.
Kelly wore a plunging beaded gown for the star-studded event.

A modest train swept the floor behind her, leaving little need for bold accessories, make-up or hair.
A simple bangle, clutch and earrings caught flickers of light, complimenting the soft waves coiffed just above her shoulders.
Nadine meanwhile went for a dramatically different look - a black V-neck dress that hugged each curve with perfection.

Side-by-side, the leading ladies were the picture of Hollywood glamour.
And on the big screen, both women enrapture Washington's character, commercial airline pilot Whip Whitaker.
The actor opens Zemeckis' first live-action film since Cast Away taking a swig of a beer with Nadine (as flight attendant Katerina Marquez) waking up next to him.

The pair head to work - Whitaker flying a route from Orlando to Atlanta. But a mid-air malfunction - and miraculous landing - leads to an investigation that reveals a disturbing truth about his character.
While an investigation is underway, the pilot meets heroin addict Nicole Maggen (Reilly) in hospital, and the pair begin their romance.
John Goodman, Don Cheadle, Bruce Greenwood, Melissa Leo, Garcelle Beauvais, Tamara Tunie and Brian Geraghty lead the ensemble cast while the story unfolds; or rather, for Whitaker, unravels.

On the red carpet this evening, Melissa Leo was the picture of elegance in an embroidered seafoam gown; meanwhile Garcelle Beauvais was on-trend in a patterened high-low dress.
Lea Thompson, Marcia Gay Harden, Kenya Moore and Bar Paly also attended the event.
Flight is scheduled to hit cinemas in the U.S. on November 2.
