Adele shines oozing retro style as she graces the cover of Elle US to head up celebration of female artists

She may sing some of the most well-known songs in the world but Adele is notoriously shy when it comes to her private life.

Channeling the Sixties siren style she has become known for, Adele makes a truly stunning cover star as various other big name artists pay tribute to her.

The 24-year-old’s cover was shot at the Los Angeles iconic EastWest Studios, where Frank Sinatra recorded his greatest hits.

Looking right at home in the retro setting the mother-of-one oozed her favourite retro style, wearing heavy eye make-up with her famous beehive hair-do.
The tribute to Adele includes thoughts on her meteoric rise to fame from such industry greats as Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Lea Michele, John Mayer and legend Barbra Streisand.

Back in London the team shot Rita Ora and it seems the peroxide star really enjoyed her looks.
Assistant Fashion Editor Sarah Schussheim revealed: ‘Rita loved hairstylist Ken O'Rourke's whimsical headpieces. She kept Instagramming selfless.’
While Creative Director Joe Zee added: ‘Including one of her in Mickey Mouse gear! Not many people get so excited to have their picture taken in whiskers—Rita definitely has a special aura.’
