When she first burst onto the scene she was seen by many as the thinking man's RnB starlet.
But her days of sitting behind a piano are clearly long gone if the music video for her latest song New Day is any guide.
The singer seems to be having a great time as she writhes around in a racy low cut gold bustier and tight leather trousers in the video.

The action later switches from an urban environment to a concert setting, though she keeps in the spirit of things by busting some moves with her backing dancers.
The 32-year-old is clearly delighted with the saucy new video, telling her fans on Twitter: 'Hope you’re all ready for the premiere of my video “New Day” on @VEVO! It’s here!!! Let’s go babyyy!!! ;-)'
She is undergoing something of a purple patch at the moment, and earlier this week boasted of her awards success on the website.
Alicia said: 'So honored to be nominated for#TopRBArtist & #TopRBAlbum for#GirlOnFire for the @Billboard Awards!!! Tune in on ABC on 5/19 at 8PM EST ;-)'

But it seems she is not quite so fruity in real life, as in 2011 Alicia denied being a 'home wrecker' due to her relationship with Swizz Beatz, who had previously been married to No Panties singer Mashonda Tifrere.
She had been accused of wrecking their marriage by his ex-wife, but the singer claimed she did nothing wrong and that they had already split before they got together.
She said: 'We didn't start seeing each other until months after they had separated.
'I was aware of all the false things that were being said about me it definitely hurt.'
Alicia married Swizz, who has four children by four different women, in July 2010 in Corsica while she was six months pregnant with his child.
