When it comes to red carpet looks, Jennifer Lawrence appears to be abiding by the less is more approach.
Instead of the smoky eye and dusky pink lip she usually favours, the Silver Linings Playbook actress went for a more minimal look as he attended the world premiere of The Great Gatsby in New York on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old actress displayed her naturally flawless complexion by toning down her make-up for the premiere.

With her newly-cut blonde hair swept back and away from her face, Jennifer showed off her dewy, radiant complexion as she posed at the event.
The Hunger Games star appeared to have gone without foundation, with just a slick of lip gloss, a dab of eyeshadow and touch of mascara completing her red carpet ready appearance.
Jennifer went for an equally simple outfit for the occasion, doing her best not to detract attention from the film's stars including Carey Mulligan and Isla Fisher.

Instead, Jennifer looked every inch a style superstar in a simple but chic Viktor + Rolf black dress.
She teamed the V-neck outfit with a metallic gold clutch bag, and held a cocktail in the other hand as she enjoyed the hospitality at the premiere.
Earlier this week, Jennifer sparked rumours she has rekindled her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, after the pair were spotted on a romantic dinner date.

The pair attempted to avoid being photographed by leaving The Little Door eatery via the rear exit, but were snapped as they got into the actress' waiting car.
An eyewitness inside the restaurant told Usmagazine.com that the pair looked 'fliratious' and were laughing and joking on their evening togeher.
But a source added to the website that the pair are 'taking things slow', adding: 'They started talking again for the movie's sake.
'If anything, she broke his heart and they are taking it slow.'
