From Bollywood star to the face of Guess: Actress Priyanka Chopra makes history as the brand's first Indian model
Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra has been announced as the newest face of Guess, making her the brand's first Indian model.
The 31-year-old, who is best known as a Bollywood actress, stars in the brand's new holiday campaign, which sees her striking sultry poses in the stunning black-and-white shots against the backdrop of a Mediterranean villa.
Miss Chopra, who won Miss World in 2000 at the tender age of 17, told WWD: 'For a global fashion brand, for them to move their campaign into a global space, for me it's an honor.'

In the campaign, which was shot by musician Bryan Adams, Miss Chopra shows off her exotic look in the line's form-fitting dresses, her dark hair styled in a voluminous up-do.
One image sees her sitting on a bench outdoors in a floral minidress and black stilettos, her head resting in her hand.
In another photo, the Indian-born beauty perches on a sofa in an all-white ensemble, smiling widely as she reveals a tattoo on her wrist that reads: 'Daddy's lil girl'.
According to E!, Miss Chopra was signed to Guess after CEO Paul Marciano met her and dubbed her 'the young Sophia Loren'.

'Chopra's confidence, strength and sensuality reflect the qualities I always look for in a model,' Mr Marciano, who is also creative director and co-founder, explained.
Miss Chopra's appointment as the new face of Guess marks a historical milestone, as some of the only other Indian actors to be signed as global fashion ambassadors are Shahrukh Khan for Tag Heuer and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for L'Oreal.
What's more, the campaign undoubtedly bodes well for Miss Chopra's modeling future.
