Homeland star Morena Baccarin welcomes baby boy after natural breech delivery 

Homeland star Morena Baccarin has given birth to a baby boy. 
The Emmy-nominated actress, 34, and her husband Austin Chick welcomed their first child, Julius, on in California on Tuesday, People magazine reports. 
He weighed in at just under eight pounds after a natural breech delivery.

'Julius and his mother are happy and healthy,' her spokesperson said.
Morena thanked Dr. Ronald Wu at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, who is said to be the only doctor in the LAs area who offers expectant mothers the option to birth a breech baby in a hospital.
'I’m so happy I was able to deliver with Dr. Wu,' she told People.  'Breech delivery is a dying art and he gave me the birth experience I wanted.'

The actress, who plays Jessica Brody, announced she was expecting in May and continued filming Homeland during her pregnancy, but producers did not make it part of her character's story line. 
'I can’t express how nice it is to be in a work environment where you are nurtured as a pregnant woman,' Morena said.
'Everybody’s allowed me to have my space, do the work I need to do, but at the same time, they’re really taking care of me.'
Morena and her husband married in 2011.
