'Until death': Fergie and Josh Duhamel express their eternal love for one another
in coordinated Day Of The Dead-inspired Halloween costumes
It was a weekend full of fun early Halloween parties, with the who's who of Hollywood donning their most impressive get-up to ring in the spooky holiday.
But none got more into the spirit than Fergie and Josh Duhamel.
Known for their love of dressing up - they went in full rockstar regalia, complete with a mullet wig, bottle of beer and cigarette for the hunky actor, to the Rock Of Ages LA premiere in June last year - the couple certainly didn't fail to impress in their over-the-top get-up.
'Hasta la muerte': Josh Duhamel posted this very cool photo of him and wife Fergie to his Instagram account on Saturday of the couple's intricate Day Of The Dead Halloween costume as they hit up an early party
Spooktacular: The Black Eyed Peas star couldn't wait to show off her costume, posting a picture of her impressive make-up, gown and headdress on Instagram on the night before
Celebrating the fact it is both Halloween and the Dia De Muertos - The Day Of The Dead - on October 31, the new parents appeared to be taking inspiration from the Mexican tradition.
The photo posted by Josh was captioned, 'Hasta la muerte,' which translates as 'Until death'.
Quite sweetly, the term is often used to express faithfulness and an eternal love.
Fergie - whose great grandmother is Mexican - wore the impressive and detailed skull-like make-up of the dead spirits and traditional dress, while her 40-year-old hubby complemented her with his face paint, sombrero and skeleton costume.
Changed her spots: The costume is certainly a different look from the sexy leopard she went as last year - no doubt influenced by the fact that the singer just had her first child, Axl, two months ago
Couples' dressing: For another party in 2012, the couple dressed as model and infamous Hollywood regular Angelyne and director Dennis Woodruff
Both stars whitened their faces and used black make-up to create sunken eye sockets, defined jawlines and teeth on their closed lips.
Of course, the 38-year-old singer is far from skeletal herself, and showed off her impressive curves in a low-cut dress from under which she exposed a sheer bra.
The star added a contrasting red cap to the black dress and wore a traditional Mexican flower headdress.
The star caption the image, 'Hola mis muertos,' which translates to, 'Hello my dead.'
Happy un-birthday: Halloween will mark exactly two months since the proud new parents welcomed little Axl into the world
The costume is certainly a different look from the one Fergie wore last year - no doubt influenced by the fact that she gave birth to her first child, Axl, two months ago.
Last year, the singer showed off her entire figure in a fitted shiny Lycra leotard when she dressed a sexy leopard.
For another party, the singer and her actor husband dressed as model Angelyne - who is an infamous sight to behold around Hollywood - and director Dennis Woodruff.
Highly anticipated: No doubt the inventive couple's baby will have a very impressive costume for his first Halloween
