Lately her stage outfits have caused controversy whether she is covered up or flashing the flesh.
But Rihanna brought a taste of the Caribbean to the stage on Saturday night with a matchy matchy combo of army style jacket, vest and bermuda style shorts in a vibrant island camouflage print.
The tropical pattern combined floral designs with animal print and brightened up the stage as she performed to an open air audience in the Dominican Republic on her Diamonds world tour.

The We Found Love singer added some bling to her beachy outfit with a gold chain, large gold hoop earrings and a golden microphone as she performed tracks from her latest album 'Unapologetic.
RiRi took off her vest mid-way through the performance to reveal a black bra and toned stomach at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel as her 97- date world tour begins to come to an end.
The 25-year-old seems to be matching her stage looks to the culture of her performances - covering up her body in the Muslim city of Abu Dhabi and getting into island spirits in the Dominican Republic.
But she has certainly never worn what look like swimming shorts on stage before.

After the gig Rihanna celebrated with an official after party at ORO nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel.
Connor Cruise, so of Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise was booked to DJ at the event leaving Rihanna free to enjoy the party until the early hours.
Connor was seen wearing JBL Synchros headphones and rocked the club with his chosen set of songs while dry ice shot into the crowd.

Rihanna spent her Friday evening watching Snoop Dogg, who was performing at the ORO nightclub at the luxury Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in the Dominican Republic.
The 25-year-old was spotted bobbing her head and waving her arms in the air as she sat with a group of friends.
On Saturday she tweeted a photo of her and Katy Perry on Saturday to say: 'Happy Birthday to my lover and friend !! I miss you so much!! I love the phuck outta you!!'.

Ahead of the magazine’s release, Rihanna tweeted about the provocative cover, referring to the shot as making her look like Greek goddess Medusa.
Medusa is a mythological monster who has snakes instead of hair and turned any man who looked at her to stone.
Rihanna will next perform in Puerto Rico and her native Barbados before returning to the United States, where her tour will wrap up next month.
