Surfin' USA: The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford, Mollie King and Vanessa White prove to be quite the beach babes as they hit the waves

But yesterday the Saturdays enjoyed a rare day off, and some of the band decided to indulge in a spot of surfing.
Frankie Sandford, Mollie King and Vanessa White made their way to Venice Beach to enjoy a lesson with a hunky male instructor.

Here come the girls: Mollie King, Vanessa White and Frankie Sandford enjoyed a surf lesson at Venice Beach, LA
Before getting into the water the girls were seen practicing their moves on dry land.
The girls were dressed in bikinis and wore wetsuits pulled up to their waists as they were taught the basics of the spot.

Frankie,23, showed off her shape in a bright green bikini and displayed an impressive golden colouring.
Mollie, 25, opted for a flirty floral pink and white two-piece while Vanessa decided to step out in a white fringed swimwear ensemble.
When four became three: Rochelle Humes paid a visit to the beach with the other girls but decided to opt out of the surf lesson

Before the girls had even got changed into their swimwear they were given a quick run-through of what they could expect from the lesson.
Dressed in their beach clothes the girls were asked to lie on a surf board before the instructor explained how they would 'pop-up'.
We are ready: After a quick change the girls were seen strutting down the beach ready for their session
Looking the part: The girls showed off their moves as they practiced on the sand
Making waves: Frankie seemed eager to get into the water
Getting closer: After zipping up their wetsuits the girls moved their boards closer to the shoreline for a bit more practice before hitting the water
Mollie stepped in to demonstrate how the movement would be performed with the help of the fit male teacher.
And it seemed like the blonde stunner was enjoying herself as she was seen giggling while stood on top of the board.

Body boarding: Vanessa seemed overjoyed as she body surfed along under the watchful eye of the instructor
Fancy footwork: Frankie was seen standing on one foot as Vanessa looked on
Jumping for joy: Vanessa was seen flinging herself high up into the air, clearly enjoying her time in the sea
It seemed that at this point Rochelle Humes decided she wasn't up for the full session and as the other girls got changed she found a space to sunbathe with Frankie's sister Victoria.
After changing into their wetsuits the girls did their best Baywatch impression as they strut across the sands to meet the attractive surf coach.
The girls appeared to be having a great time as they practice standing on their boards, from the safety of the sands.

When they did finally make it into the water the girls showed off a wide range of ability.
While Vanessa was seen delighted at catching a wave while lying down, both Frankie and Mollie managed to stand up.
Una Healy did not join the girls at the beach for the surf lesson, she was busy celebrating her birthday with her husband Ben Foden and her daughter Aoife Belle.
