JAMES BOND actor Colin Salmon has hinted that he may perform a trumpet solo during a performance on Strictly.
Colin, an accomplished musician, said: “I was going to hold it off until December, but I might be eliminated by then.”Meanwhile, Colin has asked Strictly bosses to have a word with partner Kristina Rihanoff – because he reckons she’s too tough on him.
Colin says she pushed him to put more hours into training and is worried he’ll burn out early.
A show insider said: “Colin is a hard worker but he is finding it tough to keep up with Kristina.
“She obviously feels that he has great potential and wants to see him improve as much as possible before they perform again this weekend.
“But Colin has spoken to show staff privately and admits he’d like to slow things down because her strict schedule is too much for him.
“He is very aware that the show is a marathon and not a sprint – and is worried that he won’t be able to hack this pace for much longer.”
Kristina upped the ante after Colin impressed the judges on Saturday night with a cha-cha-cha routine.
Last night the star said: “One of the most important things is that my boys could go to school on Monday with their heads up.”
