Michelle Ryan sizzles in a sexy red dress as she celebrates West End debut in Cabaret

Looking bow-tiful! Michelle Ryan sizzles in a sexy red dress as she celebrates West End debut in Cabaret

She might be best known for playing Zoe Slater in EastEnders, but Michelle Ryan certainly isn't afraid of forging new talents for herself.
The 28-year-old actress is now starring as Sally Bowles in the revamped version of West End musical Cabaret, and celebrated her debut in the show at an afterparty held at London's Cafe de Paris on Tuesday evening.
Michelle looked stunning in a strapless red dress, which featured a large bow on the side, as she posed up following the press night of the show at the Savoy Theatre.

Michelle teamed up her bright red, strapless dress with same coloured shoes and lipstick, making her appearance even more sizzling.
She was joined at the afterparty at the London hotspot by co-star Will Young, who stars alongside the actress as the lederhosen-wearing Emcee in the production, set in 1930s Germany.
Michelle had some big shoes to fill on the press night, as the covetable role of Sally was famously played Liza Minnelli in the Oscar-winning film version in 1972.

Taking on the part in the all-singing, all-dancing show must have been quite daunting for the actress, who broke free from her soap role in 2005 and has since appeared in Doctor Who and Merlin.
But the actress says everyone had so much faith in her talent, she was happy to take on the role.
'This always happens to me! People must just think "Michelle Ryan, she’ll handle anything, let’s just throw her in,"' she told Whatsonstage.com previously.

Michelle has had some time to practice for her West End debut, as she toured with the show through Britain before it headed to the Savoy Theatre.
But she has insisted that she's not looking to carve out a new career on the stage.
'For me it’s about the role, when I read the part of Sally I fell in love with the character, so I don’t know if I’m necessarily looking for another musical but it would be the character that would attract me to it more than anything.'
