On Friday night she will slip on her dancing shoes, don a sequin-covered dress, have her make-up applied to perfect and her hair styled in some elaborate fashion.
But while her performance on Strictly Come Dancing will be going for all out glamour Denise Van Outen's preparation have been anything but dazzling.
The 38-year-old presenter was seen practicing her moves in a car park with her partner James Jordan.

Instead of being dressed in a revealing shimmering gown, Denise was sporting a loose-fitting T-shirt with a tiger print on the front and a pair of dowdy leggings.
She had minimal make-up and her blonde hair was pulled into a scruffy pony tail high on her head.
It's not clear why the couple decided to take their practice outside but they were seen performing their routine, dancing between the parked vehicles.

The dancing partners were seen lifting their hands up high, displaying excellent posture in the process, as they carried out the steps to their routine.
At one point the pair took a break and Denise was seen fiddling with her phone.
While the pair took a break James was seen indulging in a cigarette.

When the couple got back to business Denise appeared to suffer an injury and was seen holding onto her leg.
Denise, who has showed off her dancing ability on the stage in recent years, was awarded 25 for his first performance on last week's show.
While the pair earned the highest score on Friday night Lisa Riley shot past the pair on the leader board with 30 points.
