But there was nothing boring about Shay Mitchell's plunging dress.
The Pretty Little Liars star has a knack for fashion and showed it well when she appeared at the perfume launch for Couture La La.
The 25-year-old actress chose a red flower-print mini dress with plunging necline that showed off her tanned and curvy figure.

Shay matched her outfit with a fetching pair of black ankle boots that accentuated her shapely legs.
While much of her personal life remains somewhat of a mystery, one thing is clear: she's not shy.
On the red carpet Shay stopped to blow kisses to the onlookers while smiling coquettishly.
The model-turned-actress was having a wonderful time, and later took to Twitter to share some of her insights at the party.

Earlier she wrote: 'Spritz, spritz! @juicycouture 's fragrance launch for Couture La La.'
Needless to say, Shay adores clothes and was a fixture at New York Fashion Week last year.
'I went to Lela Rose, Rachel Roy, and Badgley Mischka. I loved each and every one,' Shay told Out.com.

'Personally, I don't really have a set style or look. It’s pretty much what I feel like wearing that day, from a floral-print dress and high heels to ripped jeans and army boots.'
Shay - best known for her bisexual character Emily Fields on the ABC show - isn't dating anyone right now.
However, the last time she was trying to get over a break up with a former boyfriend, she went sky-diving.

Fortunately Shay has many friends including her Pretty Little Liars co-star Troian Bellisario to keep her company.
The girls settled back in their seats and sipped beer as they attended the Los Angeles Lakers game on Tuesday evening.
The co-stars seemed to be having a great time as they watched the Lakers beat the New Orleans Hornets at the Staples Centre alongside a group of pals.
