Sugar and spice and all things nice: Melanie Sykes slips into some stunning ballgowns for a new baking campaign
The 43-year-old has been announced as the official voice of cane sugar.
As well as lending her famous dulcet tones to the Tate & Lyle campaign, the stunning brunette stars in a series of shots, dressed to the nines in a range of sparkly gowns.

Melanie has been announced as the spokesperson for a new range of ‘Talking Packs’ of sugar from Tate & Lyle.
The campaign was put together in order to educate the public on cane sugar, following research revealing that nearly half (46%) of people in the UK don't know what Muscivado is.
With almost one in ten (8%) Brits believing that Muscovado is an alcoholic beverage, videos of baking lover Melanie will now be featured on 'Talking Packs' of sugar to educate the nation on the vast range of golden and brown cane sugars available.

Melanie's unique voice will now be featured on all packs via a Blippar app allowing shoppers to use their smartphones to 'Blipp' packs of sugar in order to download special videos of Mel pronouncing the names of the sugars, as well as explaining how to use them.
To launch the campaign a series of stunning images sees Melanie pose amongst some sweet treats in some gorgeous gowns.
The brunette can be seen lounging on an ornate chaise lounge, with an intricate beaded strapless dress hugging her curves.

Showing off her slender legs the star is pictured reclining as she tucks into some treats in her plush surroundings.
Another shot sees Mel kicking off her matching high heels as the floor around her is covered in trays of cakes, muffins and colourful macaroons.
Another series of shots sees the TV star change into a nude floor length dress with diamante detail sleeves as she stands on a grand staircase with her shoulder length locks teased into a bouffant do.

Mel is also seen in a stunning bridal style gown with an a-symmetric neckline studded with floral applique.
Paired with a pair of sparkly drop earrings the star look in her element as she poses amongst the sweet treats.
Melanie has spoken of her excitement at being involved in the unusual campaign, revealing her love of baking motivated her to take the job:
‘Becoming the voice of Tate & Lyle Sugars has truly opened my eyes to what an incredible world baking is. Muscovado, and other golden and brown cane sugars, really can add exciting flavours and so much more than sweetness to baked treats.’

‘I'm hoping that seeing my videos on Talking Packs of Tate & Lyle Sugars will give bakers and shoppers like me the confidence to pick up more than just a bag of their regular white sugar, and inspire them to be a little more creative in the kitchen’.
Whilst she may be looking forward to getting in the kitchen as part of her new role, Mel recently revealed that she works hard to maintain her slim figure.
The TV personality admitted that she has a strict routine of sit-ups, crunches and Russian twists every single day.

Melanie, who recently married her toyboy lover Jack Cockings in May, told MailOnline: 'On a good week if I'm not working I get in the gym between three and five times a week, an hour a time.
'I started training about four years ago. I was approaching 40 and just thought it would be quite good to get fit... I was slim, but it wasn't about that, it was about getting a bit fitter.'
