Anything boys can do, girls can do better! Team GB girls hockey team glam up for a shoot (in between playing for England and studying for their PhDs and law degrees!)

The Team GB hockey boys treated their female fans to some eye-candy when they posed naked, albeit with some hockey sticks, for Cosmo magazine.
But in true girl power style, their female counterparts are proving that anything the boys can do, they can do better.
Not only did the girls power their way to bronze at this summer's Games under the watchful eye of avid fan the Duchess of Cambridge, but they managed to achieve Olympic greatness alongside studying for degrees, and looking fabulous whilst doing it.
The girls proved that they could do glam as well as sporty and looked fabulous for a recent shoot (they kept their clothes on though unlike their male counterparts!)

Posing for a shoot with Investec, the eleven athletes look stunning in their best dresses.
The youngest of the team, Georgie Twigg particularly enjoyed the shoot. 'The girls always take the mick of of me because I like wearing make-up and my peal earrings to play in so for me, the shoot was great.'
Georgie and her team mates really gave the boys a run for their money in the style stakes and the girls found the boy's nude shoot 'amusing'.
'We weren't expecting it and then we just saw it in the magazine. The boys that did it probably got stick from the other boys.'
At 21, 'Twiggy' as she is known to her team mates, proves that beauty and brains do go hand in hand.

As well as playing for England, Georgie has completed a law degree at Bristol University, as well as been offered a training contract by a prestigious city law firm who have even agreed to work her legal training around Rio 2016.
'I am currently looking to move to London to start my LPC. It will be a shock to the system but I feel very lucky. We now have a window of time off so it seems like the perfect opportunity, everything has fit into place,' she said.
Georgie had the burden of studying for two exams in June whilst competing at tournaments, but she wouldn't have it any other way.
'It was hard to study and focus when my mind was preoccupied with worries about selection but I like having two parts to me life.
'There is such a bubble around hockey and it won't last forever so a lot of us know to keep our options open.'

Dr Hannah Macleod says she likes having two parts to her life
Dr Hannah Macleod also knows what it is like to balance her studies alongside sport and she serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes.
At 28, the athlete has already completed her PhD in Exercise Physiology and pays visits so schools and hockey clubs in her spare time to motivate young girls to follow her lead.
As one of the older team members, Hannah says playing in Rio 2016 is the 'golden question'.
'It has been the most intense three years of my life and there have been significant levels of stress. I worked nine days a week and if we were staying in a hotel, I would do my work while the others were messing around.
'Others look at me and say "weirdo" but it relaxes me. I am very adamant that I want to keep both sides in my life.'
The team have experienced both highs and lows throughout the Games and losing in the semi-finals was a devastating blow.

'The photos of that match still haunt me now. Sharing the loss with fifteen other people is hard.
'In a split second you think: "Have I wasted four years of my life?"' said Hannah.
But the girls picked themselves up and went on to take home gold, a victory they will never forget.
'We always strived for gold but as a team we showed real sense of character.
'We were over the moon when we stood on that podium and had our medals awarded, I will never forget it,' said Georgie.
As the team's biggest fan, ex-school hockey captain the Duchess of Cambridge was in the crowds- something that comforted the team.

Hannah said: 'It's like having another team mate, she really understands the game and is so lovely.
'We want her as ambassador!'
The girls are still loving every second and joined Chris Moyles to party last night after the parade along with the whole of the Team GB Olympic and Paralympic teams.
'The whole day was absolutely incredible, we were overwhelmed by the crowds,' said Hannah.
Georgie added: 'It was us saying thank you back to them for all the support they've given us, we were blown away.'
