Sofia Vergara keeps her curves in check in fitted blue mini dress following Emmy Awards wardrobe malfunction

She experienced a fashion disaster at the Emmys on Sunday when her designer gown ripped to reveal her bottom.
And Sofia Vergara made sure there was little room for another wardrobe malfunction as she paraded her curvaceous form in New York City on Wednesday.
The 40-year-old donned a blue snakeskin print dress to appear on The Chew that perfectly fitted her shapely curves.

The one-shoulder design got her a wealth of positive attention from the crowds outside the ABC studios a she teamed it with a cross necklace and jewel-encrusted hoop earrings.
Wearing her hair in ringlets, the brunette was sure to put on tights underneath her frock to make extra sure she avoided embarrassment like she did at the weekend.
Vergara seemed to take the incident with a pinch of salt though and was especially smiley as she waved to admirers on the street.

Just 20 minutes before her hit TV show won a prestigious gong at the Emmy Awards, the Modern Family star’s back zip of her Zuhair Murad teal cut-out gown got busted.
The picture showed Sofia's pert derriere fully visible as the rear of the dress failed to contain her Latin curves.
Sofia tweeted the shot along with the caption: 'Yes!!!! This happend 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!'

She later thanked her wardrobe team for helping fix the malfunction before she headed onto the stage to collect the Outstanding Comedy for Modern Family for the third consecutive year.
‘Someone in the front was screaming “Wardrobe! Wardrobe!” and she was frantic and in tears,’ says the spy. ‘Nick was trailing in the back looking annoyed.’
Apparently he was overheard saying: ‘Ugh, I need to smoke a cigarette. Her dress got stuck on the seat and made a huge rip. Her whole [bleep]ing ass was sticking out.’
The source continued: ‘He was just annoyed that she pulled them from the audience. He was huffing and puffing, and while she was getting pinned and sewn back in by a wardrobe assistant saying, “Let’s go Sofia!!”’
