Britain's Next Top Zombie! Whitney Port gets a gruesome makeover for terrifying charity campaign
By HANNA FLINT
Whitney Port and Mena Suvari are two of Hollywood's hottest stars, but this week the blonde beauties were turned into the living dead.
Along with a number of celebrities, the stars of The City and the American Pie films were given gruesome makeovers to look like zombies for The American Red Cross Zombie Blood Drive campaign.
Whitney, 27, and Mena, 33, showed their support for the charity to raise awareness about donating blood.

Fresh-faced: The 29-year old designer and model normally glows with beauty when posing for a photo
The fresh-faced designer behind the clothing line Whitney Eve would definitely be out of place at fashion week, with the decaying skin rotting flesh and hollowed out eyes she was given for the charity photoshoot.
It's no coincidence that the zombie campaign has come alive just as the new series of The Walking Dead premieres on US TV.
The AMC hit show - which stars British actor Andrew Lincoln - organised the horrifying shoot and will also run a public zombie announcement (PZA) both online and on their channel.
Greg Nicotero, who is the co-executive producer and monster makeup guru from the Emmy award-winning series, is behind the celebrity 'zombification'.
The series is based on the comic books of the same name created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard.
It has just been announced The Walking Dead has been given the green light for a fourth season after it's season two premiere broke the network's ratings record.
The post-apocalyptic television drama follows a small group of survivors living in rural Atlanta in the aftermath of a zombie takeover.

Bad Makeover: The Client List's Elisabeth Röhm terrifying look would definitely go down well in her character's salon
Dancing with the dead: Former DWTS contestant Maria Menounos also joined the zombie photo shoot that will feature on AMC's campaign website
Although the stars of The Walking Dead were notably absent from the shoot, a slew of other high profile figures showed off their best zombie faces in a series of candid photographs.
The Hobbit director Peter Jackson, 50, took a break from filming the trilogy to turn into a rotting corpse along with Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, 33, and Grammy award-winning rock band The Black Keys.
Swapping sequins for grotesque scars, Dancing with The Stars contestant Maria Menounos, 34, joined in the makeover fun.
Ringwraith: 'Lord of the Rings' director Peter Jackson looks like one of the nine servants of Sauron as he is transformed into a zombie as part of the collaboration between the Red Cross and AMC's 'The Walking Dead'
Chronicles of Life and Death: Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden's deathly look could have been a great cover for his band's third album name
Running Scared: TV and film actor Jimmy Smits is scarred and decaying as he gets 'zombified' for the charity campaign
The celebrities grotesque photos will run in a public zombie announcement (PZA) on AMC, and online at the network's campaign site.
The Client List's Elisabeth Röhm, 39, also took part in the awareness campaign, although her character Taylor - who owns a salon in the Lifetime series - would lose more than a few paying customers if this was the type of makeover she was offering.
Other stars who received the zombie treatment were Aisha Tyler, NASCAR’s Kurt Busch and TV's Jimmy Smits who played Presidential candidate Matt Santos in the final two seasons of The West Wing.
The Zombie Blood Drive campaign runs from September 24 through to October 22, whilst the 3rd season of The Walking Dead airs on US TV on October 14 and in the UK on October 19th.
