She shot to fame as a teenager with her 2006 hit Me & U.
And with not much major music success since then, it looks like Cassie is determined to use her adult image win over a new set of fans.
The singer, who is now 26, appears in the October issue of GQ magazine in a series of striking and sexy images

The star – whose full name is Cassie Ventura - poses in a bikini top and tiny denim hot pants on one image where she channels a gymnast alongsite with the recognisable rings.
Her skin is covered in plenty of oil to emphasise her curvaceous body and her tied up locks appear windswept as she peers down the camera lens.
In other images she displays her undercut hairstyle - which she has sported for several years now – and wears a blue leopard print swimming costume and crawls across a table inside a cage.

Her facial expression is animalistic as she looks like she is about to roar like a wild cat during the Christian Anwander photographed shoot.
Cassie’s tiny outfit – which showed off her toned bottom – is accessorised with large hoop earrings and strappy high heels.
In a shot where she holds on to a gold dumbbell weight, she shows off a Japanese dragon tattoo on the inside of her left ankle.
Breaking out of her cage: Cassie talks about her future career plans in the music industry
Rumoured to be engaged to rapper P Diddy, Cassie claims she hasn’t been in the spotlight for some time now because she is ‘laid-back’.
Talking about the six-year delay between her self-titled debut album and soon-to-be-released sophomore LP she said: ‘I'm just a laid-back person. Maybe laid-back to a fault.’
She added: ‘It's been too long, I know, but I got to start over and over again.
‘It would be awesome to stay popular, but if I was only an underground artist, I would be okay with that.’
But with her mastermind partner – whose real name is Sean Combs - guiding her from the sounds of her R&B debut to the electro-pop and tribal thump of the first single from King of Hearts, it’s likely she’ll reach new heights of success. The revamped star concluded: ‘I feel like I'm a new artist.’
