Rosamund Pike plays the quintessential English rose as the new face of LK Bennett

LK Bennett today announced Rosamund Pike as its new face.
The British actress, who LK Bennett heralded as 'captivating', will be modelling LK Bennett's forthcoming spring/summer 2013 collection.
LK Bennett said today they chose her as ambassador for the brand's latest collection thanks to her 'English charm and celebrated career'.

The campaign images were shot by renowned photographer Mariano Vivanco and styled by Cathy Kasterine, adn set in an opulent building in Belgravia overlooking Buckingham Palace Gardens: a 'fitting, quintessentially British location' for the London-born and based actress.
Rosamund, currently starring as a defence attorney opposite Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher, paid tribute to the brand, saying it was 'perfect for the working woman.'
'It gives you that ability to feel dressed and polished without feeling overdone, and I think that is the key to making you feel good and giving you confidence,' she said today.
'It gives you freedom to play and that’s what makes clothes exciting.'

The brand, which will no doubt gain yet more kudos for its appointment of Rosamund, has seen its fortunes go stellar over the past few years, ever since the Duchess of Cambridge, then Kate Middleton, first wore their £185 nude Sledge shoe.
With her penchant for the pump, Kate almost single-handedly fuelled a UK-wide obsession with nude pumps, which saw even her fellow Royals Camilla, Sophie Wessex, Beatrice and Eugenie adopt the look.
Kate is said to have multiple pairs of the shoe in almost identical tones and finishes.
