Two years after going public with the singer at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars bash, she made the evening into a girl's night out.
Instead of the floppy-haired heartthrob the Love You Like a Love Song star arrived at the party on Sunday on the arm of her Spring Breakers co-star Vanessa Hudgens.

It brought back memories of 2011, when the magazine-hosted party was Selena and Bieber's first official red carpet debut.
This year, Selena, 20, didn't let the past interfere with her girls' night out.
In fact, she appeared rather happy to be side by side with her gal pal, smiling wide for the cameras.

Wearing an elegant beige dress and metallic heels, she wrapped her arm around Vanessa's back, who reciprocated the action.
But their Oscar looks contrasted.
As Vanessa, 24, opted for a shimmering, plunging party dress and a vintage-inspired hairstyle, Selena opted for sophistication.

Her dress showed modest cleavage, cinching at the waist the billowing out in delicate layers.
The two young starlets carried small clutches with their polished fingers and wore dangling earrings for their jewelry of choice instead of flashing statement necklaces, with Vanessa also choosing an elegant Gaydamak cuff.
There could have been a minor mishap as they made their way into the party, because Selena was seen glancing at the ground in search of something, holding the train of her dress in her hands.
Yet, that didn't stop her from continuing into the party to celebrate the film industry's big night.
