But behind the scenes of the glitz and glamour of the 85th Academy Awards, the likes of Adele and Jennifer Lawrence can be seeing taking a moment to digest their wins in a series of intimate backstage Twitter and Instagram snaps.
The Silver Linings Playbook star, who was awarded the Best Actress prize at the star-studded ceremony, led the way as she immortalised her win by signing the official Oscars winners' poster.
