Just because many horror fans know the ending does not mean the new Carrie is any less scary.
A teaser trailer was released for the 2013 remake of the classic horror flick on Wednesday - exciting and terrifying fans.
Entertainment Tonight will air the full trailer on Thursday evening but released a sneak peak finally showing what Chloe Moretz in the title role can really do.

Despite her sweet appearance and soft demeanour in the film, Chloe, as tormented shy school girl Carrie White, means business.
In the new trailer, the brunette star is seen discovering her secret powers - she can move things with her mind.
Starting off small by making a flag outside her classroom move, the young girl then researches and hones her skill so that she can levitate her bed and herself.

But as the ominous music predicts, levitating and causing power outages is just the beginning for this teased girl.
In the trailer Carrie reveals she is on a desperate hunt to find others like her - no doubt so she can finally fit in as she is bullied at school.
'If I concentrate hard enough I can make things move,' Carrie says in the 15 second trailer.
'There are other people out there that are like me and can do what I can do.'

The trailer also gives a first look at Julianne Moore as Carrie's devoutly religious mother. 
A concerned looking Julianne is left wondering what has happened to her daughter as the house's lights flicker on and off.
The film is directed by Kimberly Peirce, who was behind controversial but awarding winning films Boys Don't Cry and Stop-Loss, and is already receiving a lot of hype despite it being a remake.

The movie is a re-imagining Stephen King's first novel of the same title and follows the 1976 original, directed by Scarface's Brian De Palma.
The terrifying original starred a young Sissy Spacek.
Both follow the same story imagined by King where by Carrie is a shy girl outcast by her peers and overly sheltered by her deeply religious mother.

However, she goes from shy to deadly when she unleashes telekinetic terror after her prom pushes her over the edge.
The new film will be released in October 18 - just in time for Halloween - in America and on October 29 in England.
