It could have ruined her night.
But when Chrissy Teigan's top broke she simply laughed off the unexpected exposure.
'Of course my zipper broke, of course, of course,' the underwear model joked as she posted a picture of the unfortunate incident on Twitter.
Her revealing black strapless crop top was already on the revealing side - leaving her at risk of exposure as it came undone at the DKYNY show on Monday night.

But as a Sports Illustrated Swimwear model, Chrissy has no shyness when it comes to showing off her curves.
Heading to the bathroom with an assistant, she pouted happily for a selfie in the mirror as repairs were made.
And Chrissy certainly wasn't put off by the accident.

Instead the 28-year-old gathered herself together in time to take her seat front row at Wednesday's Badgley Mischka show.
Sitting alongside Katrina Bowden, Giuliana Rancic and Petra Nemcova, the brunette beauty watches as the models walked the runway.
Chrissy is a newlywed, having tied the knot with singer John Legend last year.

She also posted a snap of herself eating watermelon while ctaching up on her daytime TV viewing, tweeting: 'Having so much fun @ new york fashion week'.
And yet another snap showed her pet dogs watching Chrissy get ready for a show.
