Rita Ora steps out in eye-catching leather jacket and tartan minidress for DKNY runway show in New York

She's feeling like a 'Bad B****'! Rita Ora steps out in eye-catching leather jacket and tartan minidress for DKNY runway show in New York

Donna Karan recently revealed that her new line was inspired by fashion-forward Rita Ora.
So it came as no surprise that the singer wanted to stand-out from the crowd while wowing in one of the designer's creations when she attended her show during New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Never one to shy away from a bold outfit choice, the 23-year-old stepped out in a punk-inspired leather jacket with: 'When I wear DKNY I feel like a BAD B*TCH', emblazoned across the back.

The R.I.P hitmaker sat front row at the runway event next to Mia Morretti and Zoey Deutch, which also marked the brand's 25th anniversary.
Her eye-catching coat was teamed with a stunning tartan minidress, which featured a pleated hemline while showing off Rita's slim pins.
The singer certainly made an entrance flashing her bright eyes and a big, red-lipstick smile – although she later admitted via Twitter that she was exhausted after helping with the show.

'DKNY worn me out,' wrote the blonde beauty, who is dating DJ Calvin Harris. 'Straight to bed. I can't move. #amazingshow.
Despite the chilly temperatures in the US, Rita opted against wearing tights and strutted her stuff in just a pair of buckled black heels and, of course, red nail polish on her toes.
Prior to arriving on the red carpet, the stunning star had added another layer to her ensemble in the form of a furry monochrome jacket which swamped her tiny frame.

Speaking about Rita, Donna said: 'When I saw her in the first DKNY campaign, I said, that's DKNY, you know? I think she inspired everything that you see today — that uniqueness, the energy.'
The designer was also singled out for praise by journalists and bloggers for casting 'real women' alongside the professionals to model the fall line, which included a number of students, a biologist and a professional skateboarder.
Although cast from the streets of New York City, the runway walkers received plenty of coaching before going on to model the clothes in front of the fashion elite.
It has been a pretty good weekend for Rita, after it was reported that her beau Calvin had bought her a £100,000 Mercedes.

The Scottish DJ splashed out on the flash vehicle for his girlfriend - who resides in London - in order to encourage her to pass her driving test before she moves into his Beverly Hills mansion.
The singer has been taking back-to-back lessons with her instructor to ensure she gains her license as soon as possible.

A source told The Sun newspaper: 'Rita's never needed to worry about getting around before - it's either taxis, the Tube or walking.
'That's not the way it happens in LA. Unless you have a car, doing anything is impossible. She doesn't want to have to rely on Calvin to be designated driver.'
Calvin asked Rita - who is currently filming Fifty Shades of Grey in Vancouver - to move in to his home in a bid to stop their hectic schedules destroying their romance.

After having spent much of her day watching a long line of models file down the runway, it was a buoyant Rita who stepped out in New York City that evening.
The hit-maker was on hand to help stylist Jason Rembert celebrate his birthday at Meatpacking district venue The Raven, and she did so in a striking silver jumpsuit from Lanvin.
Her rather futuristic ensemble was enhanced by a bold new hairstyle in place of the comparatively conventional tousled locks she showed off at the DKNY event earlier that day.
With her long hair teased into a stylish quiff, the 23-year-old posed for a series of photos with close friend Jason, celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen and JustJared.com’s Jared Eng.
