Game of Thrones Promotes Nathalie Emmanuel to Series Regular

Emmanuel first appeared on the series during Season 3 as Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) personal servant Missandei, who has a gift for languages.
The actress will continue to be a recurring character during the upcoming fourth season, and her promotion will go into place for Season 5. Game of Thrones has not yet been renewed for the fifth season.
Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, April 6 at 9/8c on HBO.

HBO unveiled the first full trailer for Game of Thrones Season 4 before the series premiere of True Detective Sunday night, and it's clear that the War of the Five Kings is far from over — and the number of casualties will soar before it is.
