Despite several competitors ending their relationships after falling for their dance partners, Jay McGuiness has insisted he won’t fall victim to the ‘Strictly Come Dancing curse’.
However, the Wanted heartthrob and dance partner Aliona Vilani were pictured putting on quite the cosy display as they waited for their taxi outside the Pride of Britain awards on Monday evening.
Clearly trying to stay warm in the cold, the 25-year-old singer wrapped his arms around the Russian beauty, who was wearing his blazer.

Soon after the pictures emerged, Jay defended his budding relationship with the 31-year-old dancers, claiming she is ‘happily married’ to sales director Vincent Kavanagh.
‘Aliona is happily married to an Irish fellow who I think is a legend,’ he told The Sun on Sunday.
‘So my eyes won’t wander in our rehearsals. She’s the one in control and I’m the one who needs to be constantly told what the hell it is I’m supposed to be doing.’

‘I am single but I didn’t expect to meet someone on Strictly,’ he added. ‘As some of The Wanted’s fans pointed out, it’s a dance show, not a dating show.’
Aliona - who won the show in 2011 with McFly's Harry Judd and the 2014 Christmas Special with Louis Smith – tied the knot to sales director Vincent in a private ceremony on the Caribbean island of St Thomas last year.
Speaking about her husband soon after the wedding, Aliona told Hello Magazine: 'Vincent is a lot of fun and adores me. He is the sweetest man I have ever met. He is my soulmate.

Jay, who hails from Manchester, shot to fame as part of British boyband The Wanted in 2009 until they announced their 'indefinite hiatus' in January 2014.
